For over 30 years Don Whitley Scientific Limited has been pioneering the development and use of workstation technology. Our products are sold worldwide – more than 2000 of our workstations are in use in around 50 countries.

Don Whitley Scientific Limited is a leading international supplier of innovative equipment and services to the microbiology and tissue culture industries. We develop, manufacture, market and service instrumentation and associated products for the public and private sector - primarily for use in hospitals, public health laboratories, food testing organisations and research institutions.

Based in Shipley, West Yorkshire, we also have a direct presence in Germany and Australia. We sell our products worldwide through a carefully chosen distributor network.

In addition to our design and manufacturing capabilities, we also provide extensive contract research microbiology from our UK-based GLP-compliant laboratories. We are ISO9001:2008 registered and an Investors in People company. We were established over 30 years ago and remain an independent, family-owned business.
